The Company has cash and cash equivalents of over $4 million at October 29th, 2003. For the five months ended August 31 2003, SpectrumGold had a net loss of $83,000 (or $0.01 per share). During the period the largest expenses at $52,000 related to the legal fees for the organization of the Company, and acquisition of its initial assets namely the properties in the Yukon and British Columbia acquired from NovaGold Resources Inc. (NovaGold) and Quest Capital Inc. (formerly Viceroy Resources Inc.). An additional $23,000 was expended on the initiation of, governmental relations primarily contemplating activities at the Brewery Creek project in the Yukon and the Galore Creek project in British Columbia. The $90,000 of total expenses during the period were offset by $7,000 of interest income.
