People's Liberation to Report Second Quarter 2006 Results on August 14, 2006.

LOS ANGELES -- People's Liberation, Inc. (OTCBB:PPLB), the designer of high-end casual apparel under the brand names People's Liberation(TM) and William Rast(TM) (the "Company"), today announced that on Monday, August 14, 2006, after the close of the trading day, the Company

will release financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The Company also said that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Danny Guez, President, Ted Houston and Chief Financial Officer, Darryn Barber, will host an investor conference call that same day, at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.
