South River Technologies Inks OEM Deal with Macroview; WebDrive Expands Coverage within Asian...

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- South River Technologies (SRT) announced today that it has entered into an OEM partnership with China based Macroview Telecom Limited to license its WebDrive product. WebDrive allows users to securely access remote files through a virtual hard drive.

Macroview, a systems

integrator that provides technology solutions to ISP's, performed extensive industry research to find virtual drive software for their customer. WebDrive was chosen based upon stability and performance, as well as the ability to provide Macroview's customer with a fully branded solution. In addition, Macroview assisted in the localization of WebDrive for the Chinese market.

"The WebDrive application is the core of the solution that we were able to present to our customer. WebDrive offers the high performance and stability that we require," says Eric Lo, Senior Manager of Business Development for Macroview. "The ability to access remote servers through a virtual drive is a feature that has proven highly useful. We could not find all of these capabilities in any other product."
