Bentley and Mizar announce strategic partnership.

EXTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 1994--Bentley Systems Inc., provider of the MicroStation range of professional CAD and GIS software products, and Mizar Systems Limited, provider of the MicroGIS mapping applications, today announced a new exclusive strategic partnership

The MicroGIS and MicroStation products already work together to provide an industry-leading mapping solution for governments, utilities, and other producers of map data. The new partnership calls for development of an extended layer of industry-first mapping "middleware." The new GIS environment will improve the function and performance of existing GIS applications and serve as a platform for the next generation of GIS products.
