CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 2000

NetGenesis Corp. (NASDAQ: NTGX), the leading provider of e-customer intelligence solutions, today announced that Christopher Hanson, age 41, has been named Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President

of Finance and Administration, and Treasurer, effective immediately. As CFO, Hanson will continue to drive the Company's growth initiative by leveraging its expenses to maximize operating efficiencies as well as future profitability and earnings potential.

Hanson brings 10 years of public company experience to NetGenesis. Hanson held the position of CFO of Saville Systems, a public software company that was sold to ADC Telecom in October, 1999. At Saville, he was responsible for managing finance and accounting, legal, investor relations, information services and administrative personnel. Prior to Saville, Hanson was treasurer at System Software Associates, a publicly held manufacturing applications company, managing professionals in areas of tax, treasury, employee benefits and alliance partner reporting. In previous positions, Hanson served as CFO of a privately held eCRM (electronic Customer Relationship Management) software company, as well held a tax manager position at Coopers & Lybrand. Hanson is a CPA and holds an M.S. in Taxation from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois.
