BOSTON -- Ziggs, the fast-growing search platform for finding people in business online that launched in October 2004, today announced it has introduced enhancements for its people search engine and its professional Profile Manager service. As Ziggs continuously improves its product to best serve its rapidly growing customer base, the search engine has been upgraded to significantly increase its speed for delivering results. Search queries now yield results faster, enabling users to search and find more professionals at Ziggs with ease.
In addition, Ziggs now offers customers the ability to create and host their online profile at Ziggs at no cost as part of the company's on-going effort to support its free and open search model. Now creating, listing and hosting a profile in the Ziggs Index is completely free and will remain so indefinitely. Any existing customer who has already listed or created a professional profile with Ziggs can continue to list and update their profile on a frequent basis at no cost. Ziggs' Search Engine Placement service, which enables customers to prominently display their name with a link to their profile across all major search engines, continues to be offered at a flat fee of $50 per year.
