A COMPUTER VIRUS-LIKE INFECTION which tries to steal corporate passwords has targeted computers at about 1200 banks worldwide.
Inside the virus' code, experts found a list of Web addresses for many of the largest financial institutions, including J.P. Morgan Chase & Co, American Express Co, Wachovia Corp, Bank of America Corp and Citibank N.A.
The virus, known as 'BugBear.B', spread to tens of thousands of consumer computers across the Internet. According to experts, it was programmed to determine whether a victim used an email address that belonged to any o
