Perle's Windows XP drivers are built into Windows XP and shipped with the XP distribution CD, making them available free of charge as part of the Windows XP distribution. They have passed extensive Microsoft testing, and have been approved and digitally signed.

The XP drivers support Perle IO8+PCI, Speed 4, Speed 4+, PCI-FAST and SX multi-port serial cards. Perle's multi-modem card, PCI-RAS is also supported, permitting the use of these cards when Windows XP is used with applications requiring multiple internal modems. All Perle cards are designed for a wide variety of operating systems which include Windows(R) NT, Windows(R) 2000, UNIX, and Linux.

Perle serial cards connect serial devices directly to a server providing additional COM ports. They provide support for many applications utilizing Windows XP such as environmental control, data acquisition, EPOS, RAS and modem pooling. Perle's extensive range of multiport serial cards make it easy to add 4 to 512 serial ports to Linux, Unix and Windows servers.

The Perle PCI-RAS multi-modem cards deliver multiple voice, fax and 56 Kbps data modem ports for either Windows or UNIX/Linux operating systems. Perle PCI-RAS cards are designed to meet small office users' data, fax and voice communications requirements.
