Digeo puts OCAP on the roadmap. (Up front: latest news and insight).(OpenCable Application...

Digeo Inc. said it plans to support the OpenCable Application Platform (OCAP) for its Moxi Media Center, a Linux-based device designed to share advanced applications to smaller, less expensive "satellite" boxes distributed in the home.

Under that plan, Digeo said it will port its suite of Moxi applications for OCAP, a CableLabs middleware specification designed to run on TVs, set-tops and other OpenCable "hosts."
