LexisNexis U.S. acquired Interface Software, Inc., a provider of client relationship management (CRM) products to legal and professional services firms in the U.S., the U.K., and Australia. Current officers, the management team, and employees

of Interface Software will remain at the Oak Brook, Ill., location. LexisNexis U.S. also acquired key assets of Rachel Hollingsworth Court Reporting, Inc., which will increase the company's public records holdings by adding civil judgments and federal and state tax lien records in several southeastern states [937/865-7229; www.lexisnexis.com].

CSA acquired the Public Affairs Information Service (PAIS), publishers of the PAIS International and PAIS Archive databases, from OCLC Online Computer Library Center, Inc. CSA will continue to publish the products in print and make the databases available through CSA Illumina. Six Apart, developer of Movable Type and TypePad, acquired Danga Interactive Inc., the operator of the blogging service LiveJournal. The acquisition gives Six Apart a combined 6.5 million blogs [www.sixapart.com].

Innovative Interfaces has partnered with RLG to facilitate connections from RedLightGreen to Innovative customer libraries. RedLightGreen is a free Web tool that lets students search millions of relevant scholarly items from RLG's Union Catalog, find local libraries holding the titles, and generate citations [www.innovative.com: www.redlightgreen.com].

FactSet Research Systems Inc. has acquired TrueCourse, Inc., the producer of the SharkRepellent database [www.factset.com].

Ovid announced a partnership with MuseGlobal, Inc. to offer academic and medical institutions as well as corporations an alternative federated search solution. This ASP packaged solution will be scalable to incorporate a range of content sources including commercially available databases, local information, and Internet resources [www.ovid.com; www.museglobal.com].

Find.com announced a content alliance with ThomasB2B.com, LLC that will give searchers access to the business listings of more than 550,000 industrial suppliers from 29 countries. Find.com will combine free company listings with ThomasB2B's pay-per-click ad matching technology.
