My company, InventRight, is dedicated to helping inventors bring their products to market. We’re constantly looking for and developing new ways to aid inventors – to answer their questions, to provide them with crucial information and advice, and to connect them with each other. And with these goals in mind, I’ve helped create three new ways to foster and give back to our community.
First, InventRight has created its own forum. Check it out at http://www.inventright.com/forums/index.php. There are hundreds of posts and users, with topics ranging from creativity, design and engineering, potential contacts, success stories, etc. It’s all there. It continues to become more and more active daily. It’s a great way to further discuss and clarify old topics, as well as create new ones. Registration is free.
The second useful site is the InventRight Resource Center. There are hundreds of blogs posted by industry experts, with topics ranging from inspirational, technical, specific, general, etc. Some bloggers include Jack Lander, Matthew Yubas, Deb Hess, and Roger Brown – all acclaimed individuals in their own right! The overall theme is always innovation – so it’s a great place to answer your questions, get recharged, or even learn about a new topic. Accessing the blogs is again, completely free! Check out the blogs at http://www.inventright/blogs.
And the third is a site you may find the most useful. Inventors are often confused or fearful about approaching companies – so InventRight has created a site that lists thousands of companies and the products they sell. The site is divided by different categories themselves and by the actual companies. So either way you begin to look, it’s going to be helpful. It’s like going down to the retail marketplace and exploring, except on steroids. The companies’ contact information is located as well. Curious about who to market your home and kitchenware product to? They’re all here. Use this site to quickly identify companies that are a great fit for your product. This service is free. Check it out here.
