We already know we’re stupid and lazy. We don’t need someone reminding us all day long. weightnags

But at least we’re not fat. Seems some of those people do need to be constantly harangued before they get off their butt and waddle off to the gym.

Anyway, that’s the idea behind WeightNags.com, which for $4.95 a month will regularly send you emails and text messages about how fat and disgusting you really are. Of course, you could save the money and just get married.

“We’ve taken a brutal approach,” says Tal Boyd, who launched the business about a month ago. “We’ll bug the hell out of you until you do something.”

Dreaming of that Ding Dong? Mentally making love to that milkshake? Even if you’re not, WeightNags will assume you are. And it will dish out the same kind of abuse it does for every other fatty out there. How else do you plan to stay motivated?

The approach is good enough for the 500 registered users who have signed up for the service.

But what if you’re actually sticking to your diet and getting proper exercise? Don’t expect WeightNags to care – or even know.

If you need to be coddled, you can always go to dailyaffirmations.com, which will send you inspirational messages everyday about what a wonderful person you truly are.

Actually, we just made that site up. So who’s stupid and lazy now?
