Aug. 4--It might seem near to impossible these days to raise funding, but one longtime technophile may have found a way:

Sell yourself.

Dan Fine last week put his Web domain name Fine.com up for sale on eBay. His starting bid price: $69,000. (No bids were placed as of Friday afternoon.)

Fine said he came up with the idea after going through the painstaking process of finding a name for his new company -- one with an available domain.
