About ALTiS
ALTiS employs an innovative "Fit Client(tm)" architecture to provide PC users with immediate access to unmodified Windows applications over intranets and the Internet. A user simply clicks on an application icon on a corporate Web site and ALTiS prepares and launches the application on the user's PC. The user does not need to perform an installation or download entire applications over the network. EPiCON's patent-pending technology delivers from a server to the PC, only the components needed to run the application. This "no compromises" approach combines centralized storage and version control with true distributed processing. It dramatically reduces the complexity and cost of desktop ownership while leveraging investment in existing business critical applications.
