ADAC Laboratories Signs Agreement WithIBM.

CHICAGO--(BW HealthWire)--Nov. 30, 1997--ADAC HealthCare Information Systems, a division of ADAC Laboratories (ADAC:NASDAQ), announced today at the annual Radiological Society of North America meeting that it has signed an OEM agreement to distribute IBM's MedSpeak(TM) technology, a highly accurate

speech recognition system that allows radiologists to create their own diagnostic text reports by speaking at a normal rate into a hand-held unit.

ADAC has integrated the MedSpeak technology into its existing radiology information system, QuadRIS(TM). QuadRIS offers radiology departments a seamless environment for dictation, verification, voice recognition and image management within its Physician Desktop module.

R.
