ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 10, 1999--

Penelope Sellers, president of the Hospitality Group at ELTRAX Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:ELTX), announced today her decision to retire after 20 years in the information technology industry. Sellers' retirement from this position will be effective

by the end of 1999. She will continue as a member of the Eltrax Board of Directors and will be involved with the company on a consulting basis.

In her current position, Ms. Sellers has been the chief architect of the Eltrax Hospitality Group. The Group was formed in 1998 as a result of the mergers of Encore Systems, Inc., Sulcus Hospitality Technologies and Eltrax

Systems, Inc. She has been the dominant force in the establishment of the Hospitality Group's structure and strategy.

A Georgia native, Ms. Sellers founded Encore Systems, Inc., Global Systems and Support, Inc. and Five Star Systems, Inc. in 1979 to provide property management systems and support to the hospitality industry. She used her marketing expertise, the ability to attract top staff, and a strong commitment to personal service to develop the companies into a multi-million dollar business. She is the only woman ever to be inducted into the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP) Hall of Fame.

"Penny has played a key role in the development of the newly structured Eltrax. Her insight and experience has been a tremendous asset for us," said Don Hallacy, president and chief executive officer of Eltrax. "In addition, her contributions to the hospitality technology industry can not be overstated. Her abilities, knowledge and drive leave an indelible mark on both the industry and our company. We feel fortunate that we will continue to benefit from Penny's leadership as a member of our Board of Directors."

Ms. Sellers stated, "I feel truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with such a wonderful company. Eltrax possesses a compelling team, in whom I am fully confident. There are people here who have been with me since the beginning, and I will miss them tremendously. I have been a businessperson for many years, now I am excited about the prospect of devoting more time to my family, church and community."

A replacement for Ms. Sellers will be named in the near future.
