SAN RAFAEL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2000

ResourcePhoenix.com (RPC) (Nasdaq:RPCX), a leader in business process outsourcing and application hosting services today announced contract agreements with boats.com, the marine industry's internet marketplace,

and Embarcadero Aircraft Securitization Trust (EAST), an aircraft securitization trust.

In addition to hosting the financial applications, RPC will perform the accounting and IT services for boats.com and EAST. The contracted tier one applications, Oracle Financials, provide robust features and full reporting capabilities. Tier one applications have previously been limited to large corporations that could afford the infrastructure to build and maintain the operations. RPC's hosting services extends the advantages of these applications to emerging and mid-sized companies.

Corey West, President and COO of RPC, pointed out, "this solution provides an alternative to developing the in-house staff and business processes to run these critical functions. The boats.com management team is made up of boating and Internet business veterans. They sought a tier one accounting system and thus welcomed the RPC solution."

The operations of EAST require a special solution. RPC will perform outsourced accounting services plus serve as administrative agent for the Trust. In this capacity, RPC will monitor performance of the aircraft servicer, liaison with rating agencies and prepare annual budgets. Administrative agent duties also include bank account management and calculation services - to establish and maintain accounts, direct withdrawals and transfers, and provide reports and other information as needed. RPC's appointment to EAST follows its appointment to a similar role for another aircraft securitization, Aircraft Finance Trust, in 1999.
