NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 26, 2000

Emergent Information Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: EITI) Monday announced the award of a contract to enhance PanAmSat Corp.'s (Nasdaq: SPOT) QuickAccess software.

Emergent will modularize the network

operations center (NOC) application so it can be easily upgraded. The service, which has already begun, should be completed in about four months. Emergent is a leading provider of IT solutions, mission critical software, modeling and simulation, and systems engineering to business and government.
