Atlanta-based Healthcare Marketing Report announced today that Enosus, Inc., the Internet professional services subsidiary of DAOU Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DAOU), has been honored with a prestigious Gold Award at the seventeenth annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. Enosus' signature work on behalf of Meriter Health Services of Madison, Wisconsin, was chosen from among a distinguished group of entrants in the category of Web Site/Home Page design. Enosus designed, hosts and manages the Meriter site.
Innovations on the Meriter site include the highly successful Baby Mail program - providing new birth pictures and messages to growing families. "The idea goes way beyond just posting digital photos of new babies on the site," Enosus executive vice president Eric Ringwall noted. "We created a unique and exciting way for family members and friends to immediately access and view a picture of the newborn on the Internet - including personalized graphics and text. Other Meriter/Enosus team creations on the site include a virtual tour of the facilities - specifically of the Cardiac Surgery and Birthing Centers, and links to more than 50 online support groups and over 70,000 pages of in-depth health information. Web activity is on a steady increase.
