AccuDocs LLC, one of the largest billing service companies in the nation, today announced a new agreement with Touch 1 Communications, Inc., a long distance provider. The agreement with Touch 1 names AccuDocs as its exclusive provider of print, mail and information storage services for 35,000 customer bills per month. AccuDocs' print and mail solution includes bill design, postal optimization and guaranteed turnaround times. Using business rules defined jointly with Touch 1, AccuDocs will merge market-driven messages with statement data to create customized bills.
Touch 1, which was recently acquired by Z-Tel (Nasdaq: ZTEL), will use its new PC-based customer service platform to transmit data to AccuDocs. Customer service representatives will use AccuDocs' Intellibill software to quickly access PDF files of specific Touch 1 bills, which will be stored on CD-ROM.
