AIIM 2000: Technologies Driving E-Business, is the largest business-to-business event focused on helping organizations deal with information management. Technologies on display will include e-business process management, web-content management, web-enabled document management, knowledge management, data mining and warehousing, and industry-specific solutions.

Keynote Speakers
On Monday, April 10 from 9-10 a.m., Bob Evans, Editor-In-Chief of Information Week, will moderate the keynote panel, "What is the `E' in E-Business?" This panel featuring Zijad Aganovic, president, CyLex Systems, Harry Haury, president, NuParadigm Systems, Inc., John O'Connell, president, Staffware Corp., Lee Roberts, president, FileNET Corp., and Tom Jenkins, director, Open Text, will discuss the meaning of e-Business as it relates to a variety of industries including: financial services, government, healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications.
Critical business issues -- accelerated product delivery, regulatory compliance, improved cycle times and streamlined business processes -- will be examined, along with technology and application issues such as knowledge management, workflow, and Web-based collaboration.
On Tuesday, April 11 from 9-10 a.m., Gary Beach, publisher, CIO Magazine, will moderate, "Mavericks of the New E-conomy." Beach leads a discussion with some early adopters of e-Business technologies including: Alan Childs, CTO, resaleworld.com, Rich Johnson, VP & CIO, Norton Healthcare, and Mitch Margolis, director of worldwide information systems, Tishman Speyer Properties.
These executives will speak about the pitfalls and the successes of being among the first to explore technologies and applications like ERP, knowledge management, XML, security, CRM, supply chain management, and enterprise application integration (EAI).
On Wednesday, April 12 from 9-10 a.m., Kevin Kelly, editor-at-large, Wired Magazine and author, will discuss the "New Rules for the New Economy." In this cutting-edge keynote presentation, Kelly will present 10 radical strategies for success in the network economy. Prime Time Theater
New to AIIM 2000 is the Prime Time Theater, a stage located on the expo floor where exhibitors will make new product announcements, presentations, and demonstrations. This highly publicized event will be broadcast on monitors throughout the convention center. This venue allows both media and attendees to learn about the latest products and solutions available in the marketplace.
Vision 2000 Press Luncheon
AIIM is hosting a Vision 2000 Luncheon for the press on Tuesday, April 11 at 12:00 noon. Industry analysts from AIIM, Delphi, Giga Information, Meta Group, and Strategy Partners will relay their thoughts on where the industry is headed over the next two to three years, with particular emphasis on e-Business applications and the impact on information and document management technologies.
Channel Connection (VARs, Distributors, and System Integrators)
The Channel Connection, co-sponsored by AIIM International and Business Solutions, is a unique opportunity for VAR-to-VAR networking and candid business discussions with potential vendor partners.
