JAWZ Inc. (Nasdaq:JAWZ), a leading provider of secure information management solutions is pleased to announce that Gregory Miles, Ph.D., Director, Cybercrime Response will be speaking at the Black
The Fifth Annual Black Hat Briefings runs July 11-12th at Caesars Palace.
The Black Hat Briefings conference series was created to fill the need of computer professionals to better understand the security risks to their computer and information infrastructures by potential threats. To do this, the organizers assemble a group of vendor neutral security professionals in the same room and let me speak openly about the problems businesses face and the solutions they see to those problems. According to the conference organizers, Black Hat is "no gimmicks, just straight talk by people who make it their business to explore the ever changing security space."
Spanning two days, with five separate tracks, Miles will be speaking in the "White Hat" track on "Computer Forensics: A Critical Process in Your Incident Response Plan". Miles addresses the "Why and How my website got hacked" as well as Computer Forensics as it relates to being a legal and procedural capability.
Gregory Miles, Ph.D. has over fourteen years experience in Computer and Information Systems. Prior to JAWZ, where Greg serves as the Director of Cybercrime Response, he has also served in similar capacities for AverStar Inc. and as a Security Engineer supporting NASA and the U.S. Air Force.
"I'm looking forward to speaking at Black Hat. It's an honour to speak to industry professionals and share information based on knowledge and years of experience in the industry," Dr. Miles said. "That's what this conference is all about - not sales and vendors, but rather peers sharing knowledge and looking for insight into an industry that changes daily."
