The contract signing marks the successful completion of a process that began with a signed Letter of Intent that was previously announced. Under the terms of the agreement, Infocrossing will deliver a full suite of mainframe outsourcing services in support of the client's financial, human resources and inventory management applications. The deal is expected to begin billing within 60 days, and result in $1.5 million in new revenue during the first year.
"As a direct-to-consumer retailer of specialty products, inventory management is a critical requirement of our client's business," stated Zach Lonstein, Infocrossing's Chairman and CEO. "Their choice of Infocrossing to support this mission-critical application reflects the confidence companies have in our IT outsourcing capabilities, and the value of our solutions in assisting clients to reach their business goals."
Infocrossing continues to gain new outsourcing clients in the retail sector. In addition to this new contract, Infocrossing signed an agreement for IT outsourcing services with a leading retailer of women's apparel. The addition of these two clients brings total new revenue commitments received since the beginning of the year to over $500,000 per month, or more than $6 million annualized.
"2003 is proving to be another year of strong growth for Infocrossing," Mr. Lonstein added. "With these latest clients, we've signed new revenue commitments in the first four months of 2003 nearly equal to the amount of new contracts signed during the entire year in 2002," he concluded. In 2003, Infocrossing has signed commitments totaling more than $21 million in revenue over terms ranging from two to seven years, compared to $22 million in new contracts signed throughout 2002.
