AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 2003
The Council on Competitive Government (CCG), by and for the Texas State Library and Archives commission, awarded Austin, Texas based Neubus Inc. the statewide Digital Imaging Services contract.
CCG reviews state services to identify the most cost-effective and efficient provider of those services. CCG identified digital imaging as one of the services in February 2002. Through a very competitive bid process, CCG selected Neubus to provide the Digital Imaging Services to all Participating State Agencies.
"This bid process involved Neubus competing against the largest and most well established companies providing digital imaging services," said I-Hsing Tsao, Co-founder and CTO of Neubus.
This contract covers four major service areas: document preparation, image capture, indexing, and consulting. An estimated 50 million pages require digital imaging services.
Chris Albury, Co-founder and CEO of Neubus, notes, "This contract opens up a major new opportunity for our agency-specific solutions and services and, most importantly, provides a means to assist the CCG in achieving its goal of a more efficient, cost-effective and competitive government."
