CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 3, 2004
Peak 10, Inc., the Southeast's leading data center solutions provider, today enhanced its portfolio of data protection services by expanding its two-year relationship with ManagedStorage International (MSI). Through this partnership, Peak 10 provides a more comprehensive online data backup and recovery offering by deploying MSI's RemoteStor Service. The relationship with MSI compliments Peak 10's existing disaster recovery and business continuity solution.
Online data backup and recovery services from Peak 10 offer companies the ability to automatically and continuously perform backup procedures of critical business information and technology infrastructure via a secure Internet connection. The data is stored in a secure facility, where it is available for immediate recovery in the event of system failure, virus, human error or other disaster. Additionally, Peak 10 will be offering the complete suite of GridWorks Services from MSI. GridWorks enables Peak 10's customers to take advantage of the most robust set of data backup monitoring and management capabilities in the industry. These services mitigate risk and reduce cost, as they remove the need to rely on internal staff to perform backup procedures and maintain costly equipment.
"There is real demand for a reliable solution for automated daily backups, secure storage and rapid retrieval of critical business information," said David Jones, president and chief executive officer of Peak 10. "By expanding our partnership with MSI, we are enhancing our current offering to answer this market need.
