Unibanco's B-to-B play.(Company Business and Marketing)

Unibanco, one of Brazil's largest banks, is pushing the business-to- business envelope in Brazil. It plans to have online trading operations up by the fourth quarter.

This August, Unibanco signed a deal with Grupo Financiero Galicia and Banco Galicia of Argentina and the Portugal Telecom group's units of PT Prime and Tradecom to develop B2B ecommerce operations in Latin America.

The agreement is designed to develop Web sites or portals for companies operating in the Mercosur trading bloc countries of Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. With an investme
