IBM engineers are currently working with their counterparts at the former Digital Research, Inc., now part of Novell, Inc., Provo, Utah, "to make sure DR DOS can be installed under OS/2," said John Soyring, director of software development programs at IBM's Boca Raton, Fla., operation.
While many users have expressed confusion about IBM's desktop plans, Soyring told an audience at the recent Downsizing Expo in Chicago that most of the company's agreements with systems software vendors are aimed at making OS/2 the desktop standard.
He cited agreements with No
