Kylin: China's First Homemade Operating System Born
BEIJING, Sep 15, 2004 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Kylin Operating System (OS), the first OS independently developed by China, comes into beingand the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) and Lenovo Group, the two main developers, will make a big effort to promote it in China.
Kylin is a Chinese server operating system and as powerful as Linux and Microsoft's Windows. It is an important project listed in China's national 863 Plan, the program to make China a lead
