GE Capital's Corporate e-Business group recently launched

a new Web site featuring a comprehensive selection of corporate finance capabilities from four GE Capital businesses: GE Capital Commercial Finance, GE Capital Commercial Equipment Financing, GE Capital Structured Finance Group, and GEVentureMine.com. The new portal, GE CEO Solutions, (www.gecfosolutions.com) will make it easier for senior financial executives to get the financing and services they need from GE Capital units.

The new portal was developed to address a specific customer problem. With many different GE Capital businesses offering finance solutions for middle-market and larger companies, customers easily became confused and had difficulty determining which business was best for their particular situation. GE CFO Solutions directs customers to the proper business, using intuitive needs-based navigation and state-of-the-art wizard technology.

The hub of the new portal is the "CFO Solutions Wizard," which invites customers to enter their needs and then refers them automatically to the most appropriate business. "The collective suite of products and services on the site represents a wide range of GE Capital's financing capabilities, including working capital, term loans, leases, senior secured debt, equity financing and much more," said Andrew Greta, market development manager for Capital's Corporate e-Business group and co-leader of the GECFO site.

GE is also viewing the portal as a powerful marketing platform. The portal development team has already struck initial partnerships deals with several online publications, and additional deals with various associations, trade publications and B2B exchanges are in the works.
