Free-hotspot.com, a provider of free wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) services in Europe, has claimed that with over 600 HotSpot locations now in operation it represents the largest network of free Wi-Fi HotSpots in the world.
According to the company more than 40,000 people currently use the free wireless Internet access available at free-hotspot.com locations in 14 European countries. It confirmed that the number of free wireless HotSpots more than doubled last year and claimed over 60% of the growth was due to free-hotspot.com.
Free-hotspot.com confirmed its commitment to accelerating the introduction of free wireless Internet services in Europe.
According to JiWire, a company operating a directory of verified public hotspots, free or low cost service, supported by advertising, is likely to shape the future of public Wi-Fi.
