iBAHN adds 150 French hotels to its connectivity portfolio.

Some 150 hotels in France have been added to the portfolio of iBAHN, a provider of secure, managed Internet connectivity for business travellers and meeting planners.

iBAHN, which is now represented in more than 1,000

hotels in Europe and in 18 countries around the world, has added the hotels as part of its European expansion programme.

The company offers fixed and wireless Internet access in hotel rooms, plus technology services for events and conferences and WiFi hotspots in public areas. The iBAHN network is protected by various levels of security, including WiFi Protected Access which offers protection for corporate and personal data.

The company has signed up hotel chains including Marriott, ORFEA and ACCOR, and independent hotels such as Paris's Hotel Napoleon, to its fixed and wireless technology. The hotels are mainly situated in the Paris area but also extend to cities such as Bordeaux, Marseille and Toulouse.
