California-based Macromedia Inc has launched Macromedia Sitespring, its new web-based application for managing the web site production process.
The software is designed to enable professional web teams to be more productive in the creation of web sites by reducing cycle time, eliminating file rework and decreasing the time spent on non-business focused activities. Sitespring's users will also be able to see their project tasks from within Macromedia Dreamweaver and Dreamweaver UltraDev through a new product extension.
Macromedia Sitespring for Windows/Macintosh is available immediately for Windows 2000 Server and Windows NT 4.0 Server. Pricing begins at GBP1,519 for the Sitespring Server plus three user licences. A trial version, with support for ten users, can be downloaded from http://www.macromedia.com/software/sitespring/trial/.
