System software vendor Software AG has launched version 4 of its Natural product for mainframes, a development platform for large-scale e-business applications.
The new offering is designed to accelerate database access to Adabas and DB2, improve application performance and enable the direct processing of XML documents. Natural for mainframes 4 also allows BS2000/OSD applications to be developed using Natural on Microsoft Windows.
No pricing information was announced.
