Trimm Technologies to grow with acquisition of Sigma Information Systems.

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1995--ROBROY Industries is entering into negotiations to acquire Sigma Information Systems.

Sigma's assets will be merged with ROBROY's Las Vegas subsidiary, Trimm Technologies Inc. Both Trimm and Sigma are located in Las Vegas and manufacture computer

peripheral enclosures.

Sigma has a strong emphasis on engineering enclosures for OEM and government applications. Trimm also makes enclosures for the data storage markets. Lou Kirchner, CEO of Trimm and CFO of ROBROY, said of the acquisition, "While we may have been considered competitors in the past, both companies had subtle but important marketing and design differences. These differences will complement each other in the new organization and better serve both companies' customers."

Sigma will continue normal operations in its present facilities before combining the two companies in Trimm's expanded 125,000-square-foot facility.

Trimm Technologies is a wholly held subsidiary of ROBROY Industries and has been supplying Fortune 1000 computer manufacturers and system integrators with state-of-the-art system packaging for over two decades. Trimm Technologies is more than 250 employees strong and maintains offices in the United States, England and Germany, with manufacturing facilities in Las Vegas and Nottingham, England.

With the 9002 certification of its U.K. facility, Trimm continues to develop its resources and engineering talent to manufacture optimum peripheral enclosures and electronic packaging for today's sophisticated computer systems around the world.

This latest development is part of Trimm's long-term strategy to bring higher-technology packaging solutions to the global market.
