McGuffie Brunton says its newly acquired applications for Syspro's Impact Encore ERP system are winning business. Rubber mat and baby product manufacturer Canon Avent is buying a warehouse management system (from acquired Mannex of South Africa), while Bob Martin and Ralex Systems have signed for McGuffie's Equator HR and time and attendance Impact extensions (from its MDF Systems purchase). Also, lighting manufacturer Chelson, and Centriforce and Karton Healthcare are going for McGuffie's CRM, while Ericsson antenna provider, Precision Antennas is buying its e-business. Next month see the launch of the e.net.solutions COM componentbased rewrite of Impact Encore -- with the emphasis on re-useable code and serious openness.
Intellution, the production automation, monitoring and control software developer, has become a division of Emerson Process Management (EPM), created last month to focus the activities of its process sector companies around the world. It means that Intellution joins system integrator Performance Solutions, control valve maker Fisher Controls, plant instrumentation maker Rosemount, control systems builders Fisher-Rosemount Systems and Westinghouse, as well as flow meter developer Micro Motion. It means users will eventually get one point of contact for everything.
