Magazine ranks CleanSweep 3.0 #1 PC business software in Japan.

The July 7 issue of Nikkei Business Magazine ranks CleanSweep 3.0 from Quarterdeck Software of Marina Del Rey, Calif., as the number one "PC business software" in Japan. Nikkei Business' top ten list is based on May 1997 sales at the T-Zone Shinjuku Center in Tokyo, one of the largest software retail chains in Japan. Quarterdeck's MagnaRAM 97 garnered the number seven rank on Nikkei Business' Top 10 list. "As a rapidly growing market, Japan is a focal point for our international success," says Curt Hessler, CEO of Quarterdeck. "We are committed to growing this significant market." Quarterdeck holds more than 55 percent of the worldwide unistaller product market share with all of its cleanup products. CleanSweep is the number one product in Europe and Japan. The tool supports Windows 95 and is the first Windows NT 4.0 Japanese compatible cleanup product.
