Speech processing company Aculab is set to offer a speech verification and identification software for use in telephony applications.
The software - which will be included in Aculab's CWR 3.0 package - uses statistical data to confirm the identity of a caller by analysing their voice and comparing it to an existing voice footprint.
An Aculab spokesperson stated that the speech verification and identification software is intended for use in the financial services and government sectors as well as by companies wishing to give their employees secure access to intranets, extranets and corporate applications.
No pricing details were disclosed.
