Luxembourg?s Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Chamber of Commerce plan to establish an certificate to identify the country?s e-business websites.
The government says it hopes to reinforce
The project, within the framework of the eLuxembourg action programme, hopes to create a certificate for electronic business sites in accordance with the development of European and Luxembourg regulations.
Five objectives have been set for this task. The first is for a benchmarking survey of the "quality signs" on an international level in order to have a view of the practice in the field of electronic business via the internet.
The government then hopes to develop the e-business certificate and a certification process, offer work and control tools, and finally, establish a pilot phase to test the procedure on a number of companies.
