Thomas Industrial Network has implemented a new search platform to power ThomasNet.com, its comprehensive online resource for industry. The Web site features more than 650,000 distributors, manufacturers and service companies in over 67,000 categories.

Thomas Industrial Network chose FAST (fastsearch.com) Enterprise Search Platform to power its site. The technology provides the company with a 360-degree view of relevant structured data stored in databases, as well as unstructured data in documents, e-mails, presentations, Web pages and others.
