Econet contracts ZTE and Ericsson to expand Zimbabwean network coverage.(ZIMBABWE)

Econet has selected ZTE to expand the network coverage in Bulawayo, Masvingo province, the Midlands, and the two Matabeleland provinces of Zimbabwe. ZTE will provide equipment for the project and also install base stations in these areas. It will also build new sites on national highways as well as remote rural regions. This expansion venture falls under the third phase of network expansion initiated two years back, and is due to commence soon.
