VANCOUVER, Wash. -- New Edge Networks said today it was named among one of the fastest growing private companies in Oregon and Southwest Washington for the third consecutive year. in a June 17, special edition.

With $115.1 million in revenue for 2004, New Edge Networks ranked number 35 on the 2005 list of the 100 fastest growing private companies. Among companies with the highest revenue, New Edge Networks had the third largest revenue growth rate. New Edge Networks produced revenue growth of 123 percent over a three-year qualifying period from 2002 through 2004.

New Edge Networks ranked No. 5 on the 2004 fastest growing private company list and No. 1 in 2003. To qualify for the list, privately owned companies must have verifiable revenues of at least $250,000 in 2002 and annual revenue growth through 2004.

Also this year, New Edge Networks made its debut on the Portland Business Journal's list as the 24th largest private company in the region. New Edge Networks was formed in 1999.

New Edge Networks is a national provider of multi-location broadband networks for businesses and carriers. Portland area-based customers of New Edge Networks include Burgerville restaurants, Hollywood Entertainment Corporation, and McGuire Bearing Company among other retailers, healthcare providers, banks, insurance and manufacturing companies.

"We are honored to be among the best-managed companies in Oregon and Southwest Washington for three consecutive years," said Dan Moffat, president and CEO of New Edge Networks. "I congratulate all the winners for their success in helping to sustain and strengthen the economic health of our region.

"Broadband networks are now strategic for every business," Moffat said. "But the complexities inherent with broadband IP-based VPNs (virtual private networks) make migration projects a daunting task.

"We continue to grow and thrive because we make it easy for customers to do business with New Edge Networks. With broadband networks, business customers can increase revenues, cut expenses, and improve customer experience," Moffat said.

New Edge Networks ranked No. 28 on the 2004 Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing private companies in America. Among the 2004 Inc. 500, New Edge Networks ranked No. 23 in total 2003 revenue.
