Rocstor a provider of external hard drives, has launched its line of 'ROCBIT' secure encrypted external hard drives.
According to the company, the Rocsecure Rocbit 3 3.5" external hard drive is a versatile, real-time hardware encrypted storage solution available for Mac or PC. Rocbit 3 USB, FireWire400/USB and FireWire800/USB Combo interface drives are designed with DES/TDES 40/64/128 or 192-bit real-time hardware data encryption security performance which effectively intercept, interpret, translate and relay IDE data commands to and from disk drives, the company claims.
The Rocsecure Rocbit 2, 2.5" external pocket mobile hard drives reportedly offer similar features as the Rocbit 3, but with lighter weight and smaller size.
No pricing details were disclosed.
