Acronis, Inc, a provider of storage management software, has announced that New Mexico Software, Inc, a provider of information management solutions, has signed an OEM agreement to include Acronis True Image in its TORC product line.
According to the company, TORC is a software appliance and web service backup solution designed to enable the installation, scheduling, storage, retrieval, and restoration of full partition or partial file backups of almost any computer or server. The system, which uses Acronis True Image as its disaster recovery cornerstone, automatically schedules full, differential or incremental backups through a browser interface. No financial or pricing details were disclosed.
