Mar. 24--Jim Foster only meant to watch soccer when he went to his first indoor game at Madison Square Garden in 1981.
But midway through the first half of that New York Aeros game, Foster, then a marketing man for the NFL, started thinking: What about indoor football? The Iowa native known for his creativity started to draw on a 9x12 manila envelope full of Iowa Hawkeyes basketball press clippings, a care-package present from his mother.
