Here's an event coming up that might interest AllBusiness.com entrepreneurial women. It's the Trailblazers event produced by BWN, out in the Washington, DC area. The dates are May 18-19, 2006. I'm speaking at the event, so if you can make it, we can meet in person. Here are the details. I have not been to this event before but last October's Summit and Gala, also presented by BWN, was outstanding.

Over and over, traveling around the country, I hear women entrepreneurs say "I feel isolated. I work so many hours, and I don't meet enough new people." That's a big problem - but there's a way to solve it. Get out and meet some people!

New contacts extend your network, give you new insight, and broaden your mental horizons. You know it deep down, but real life intervenes and makes it hard to stop and take a look at your business and your network. Networking events can infuse you with fresh energy and great ideas. Make it a point to get to them when you can!

On that topic, what sorts of events do you find useful? Local networking? National conferences? Where does your support, where do your leads come from? Post a Comment below and let us know.
