John L. Kirkwood was appointed chief executive officer of the American Lung Association in New York City. Kirkwood previously served as executive director of the American Lung Association of Metropolitan Chicago.

Linda W. LaMona was appointed president and chief executive officer of Easter Seals Eastern Pennsylvania, based in Allentown, Pa. Formerly, LaMona served as president and CEO for Goodwill Industries - Heart of Florida.

Kevin Locke is the new director of marketing and public relations of Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based Food For The Poor, Inc. Locke previously served in the marketing department for WGBH in Boston.

Joe McDaniel was appointed director of membership development of the American Society of Association Executives. He was serving as membership director for the Medical Group Management Association, based in Englewood, Calif.

Patricia Minaker was appointed national director of administrative services of Canine Companions For Independence in Santa Rosa, Calif. Previously, she served as senior accountant at a public accounting firm in Santa Rosa.

Paul Minorini is the new chief executive officer of St. Louis-based Boys Hope Girls Hope. Minorini was BHGH's director of organizational advancement prior to the promotion.
