eBay offers Free Gallery Offer

If you sell on eBay for your Home Based Business or are planning to, eBay is offering sellers a nice holiday gift this year! The 'Gallery' feature -- usually 35 cents per listing -- is free. The 'Gallery Plus' feature -- usually 75 cents per listing -- is 35 cents. This offer runs through December 12, 2007.

The Gallery feature is something most eBay sellers use. It's the thumbnail shot that shows up in the eBay search results. A few sellers try to do without it to keep their costs down, but given that it's free for the next few weeks, there's nothing to lose with it.

The Gallery Plus feature is a zoom feature for the Gallery. When shoppers mouse over a listing in the eBay search results that has Gallery Plus, a larger pop-up window will show a larger picture of that item. Note this feature only works if your photo is hosted on eBay. If you have a photo that doesn't look all that great in thumbnail view, this might be a good time to test the Gallery Plus feature.
