What Is the Right Way to Hire Home-Based Employees?

If you have a home-based business and need to hire help, make sure that your profit margin is high enough to allow you to add employees. If you cannot pay their salaries and still make a profit, you are on the fast road to failure. Hiring independent contractors may be a better bet.

double check that there are no zoning laws that prohibit nonrelated employees in a home-based business. You don't want to be faced with angry neighbors and a lawsuit from your local zoning commission.
