Oxford Instruments' six-month sales ended September 30, 2005 rose 12.7% to 75.3 million [pounds sterling] ($136.9 million), and orders totaled 80.9 million [pounds sterling] ($147.1 million). Analytical sales rose 17% to 35.1 million [pounds sterling] ($63.8 million) (see IBO 11/30/05), and

orders grew 26.0% to 39.3 million [pounds sterling] ($71.5 million). Superconductivity sales grew 9.2% to 40.2 million [pounds sterling] ($73.1 million), and orders increased 12.7% to 41.6 million [pounds sterling] ($75.6 million). The company' Industrial Analysis business is now organized as a single entity.
