Camden's Green Spaces a Little Greener

Camden Maine has initiated a few different programs to have everyone involved in becoming a little greener.  The Citizens for a Green Camden have the local inns and B&B’s rallied around a green gardening guide.  All have committed to using organic methods that will not only benefit visitors, but the whole town.  They’re going to follow the group’s six step organic gardening guide.  They’ll use only organic fertilizers, they’ll feed lawns with compost and they’ll leave the clippings behind after mowing.  The Citzens for a Green Camden were also involved with the Town of Camden’s decision to ban lawn and gardening chemicals from all public parks and fields.
